Peter is a relaxed and entertaining teacher, guiding the class with humour and fun. Offering either Hands-on interaction or a more relaxing Demonstration, culminating in a shared feast of dishes prepared.Alba’s ‘Chef’s Kitchen’ is an on-site state-of-the-art Cooking School, which can also host private Chef’s Tables with Peter Kuruvita for up to 20 people. Catering/dining options:
Our menu is a highlight and features Peter Kuruvita’s signature style of global flavours and the Sri Lankan spices.
We have a number of 2-3 course group menus with a choice of alternate drop or order on the evening option. We also offer stand-up canape selections and shared dish style dining.
We have a fully set bar with beverage package options and the option of a QR system for guests to order their own drinks post-package.
Event Supplies:
When booking our venue, you receive complimentary white linen tablecloths, oatmeal napkins, tables and chairs, crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as our onsite Events Coordinator dedicated to managing your event and liaising with external suppliers.
All styling, florals and additional decorating can be arranged with your chosen styling company. Additional furniture must be organised by guests for stand-up cocktail events.
We work cooperatively with quality local stylists and event management companies such as Simply Style Co.>, florists, photographers, and invitation designers. We are happy to make recommendations and introductions to our preferred suppliers or will happily work with your preferences to ensure a perfect day.
